This famous Ross-shire hunting song is well known both in Scotland and Nova Scotia. Composed by Donlad fraser, "The Fannich Bard" whilst he was gamekeeper there. Originally from the Loch Broom area, he is an ancestor of David Boag, whose mother is a Fraser from Badicaul, near Kyle.
